In-Page Analytics innovator, ClickTale has received US $17 million from Amadeus Capital Partners to invigorate product development and company expansion.
A True-to-Life Investment
Other investors in the Series B growth stage funding include Goldrock Capital and Viola Credit, Israel’s leading venture lending fund. The investment will help ClickTale as they continue to help customers achieve online success by offering more valuable website insights.
By analyzing what it calls the “True-to-Life User Experience” inside every page, ClickTale allows businesses to convert more site visitors into buyers and increase engagement with site content. Additionally, ClickTale’s premier product, ClickTale Core, provides anonymous playback of user browsing sessions, aggregated heatmaps of in-page activity, as well as tools to increase form completion and optimize conversions. Together, these tools let companies leverage their users’ behaviors to target content and design a user-centered web experience.
While most companies recognize the importance of the user experience, not many are able to effectively understand their users’ website activities. More companies are behooved to dive deeper within their sites' analytics so as to better optimize their websites to accommodate prospective buyers and eliminate bottlenecks. With ClickTale, organizations can capture the entire browsing session including every mouse move, click, hover and scroll to discover and understand why customers abandon shopping carts, what errors they experience, and where poor user experience frustrates them.
The new funding will give ClickTale the ability to further develop innovative platforms and best practices like its Online Optimization Cycle, which helps customers maximize the speed and effectiveness of site improvements by combining traditional web analytics with A/B testing.
Founded in June 2006, ClickTale has worked to revolutionize website optimization, conversion analysis and usability research. By providing a robust offering of products and resources, companies can better understand how visitors use their websites so they can target specific audiences, improve customer satisfaction and increase conversion.
