Commerce products provider, hybris has released latest version of its hybris Commerce Suite that gives B2B and B2C marketing companies omni-channel capabilities. More specifically, this new update is centered on the cross-channel consumer and in-store business tools.

hybris recognizes this need and has updated its hybris Commerce Suite to version five with a focus on the customer and the channels they use. According to hybris, previously if a company wanted to structure their marketing and engagement efforts around an omni-channel or multichannel approach, that included in-store, online and mobile, it would have taken years of planning; but with the hybris suite, the company aims to for a plan like this to go into motion in under six months.

With the update, companies not only have access to social media plugins and the hybris Commerce Accelerator, a solution that helps deploy commerce features across multiple channels like the web, in-store and call centers, but they also get the following capabilities and tools:
- Order Management Services: Companies can now improve their order management capabilities with the hybris Order Management Services (hybris OMS) for Omni Commerce tool. Companies can see a single view of its inventory, the entire order fulfillment and shipping process and as a result, areas that need improvement. Overall, this capability helps companies create a good customer shopping experiences and helps reduce operation costs.
- InStore Module: With the hybris InStore Module, companies can improve the cross-channel shopping experience by being able to create brick and mortar stores. For example, with InStore, a store associate, through the tablet-optimized UI tool, can offer an online experience to the customer and easily browse a selection of products that will improve the overall shopping experience.
- The Next Generation Cockpit: Not every business is the same and hybris acknowledges this. With the Next Generation Cockpit, widget based tool, users can create business tools that fit each employee’s roles and tasks.
- Mobile Apps Development: Mobile shopping is becoming an essential part of digital marketing and eCommerce businesses, so with the Mobile App SDK for iOS and Android a business can build and deploy their own apps. Features included with this tool include mobile storefront templates that have QR code scanning abilities, mobile search and NFC tag recognition.
