Marketing collaboration platform SHIFT, has introduced the SHIFT Open Marketing Cloud, a suite of marketing applications designed to give enterprise users a platform of tools in which to create and launch marketing campaigns.
A Complete Marketing Suite
Despite attempts to utilize the capabilities of the digital marketing landscape, SHIFT found that many marketers are unable to deal with rapid changes to customer trends and technology, leaving marketers working in an incomplete, siloed approach.
SHIFT aims to change this with its Open Marketing Cloud. The Open Marketing Cloud brings together more than dozen enterprise marketing applications under one roof to manage every process in the marketing life cycle from a single platform, complete with a social feed to follow all marketing actions taken.
The industry's current marketing clouds can’t keep up with the rapid pace of software innovation and this forces people to work in silos, leaving marketers with a rigid set of tools that only meet some of their needs,” said James Borow, CEO of SHIFT. The app collection, which ranges from data management to content creation include Aggregate Knowledge, Kenshoo, Offerpop, Optimal Analytics, SocialFlow and GraphEffect. Borow believes this best in class approach provides the agility that marketers need in a rapidly changing ecosystem rather than an integrated approach. While Borow doesn't name names, he's looking at you Salesforce.
In addition to being a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer for Pages, Ads and Insights and a Twitter Ads API Partner, SHIFT also offers a variety of marketing apps that can be integrated, including Social Marketing, Display Advertising, Mobile Marketing and Search Advertising.
GraphEffect to SHIFT
SHIFT is the creation of GraphEffect, a social advertising and collaborative social network for marketers. GraphEffect mirrored Facebook and Yammer’s social network design and allowed marketers to work together to improve digital marketing through planning, content creation, analysis and social advertising. GraphEffect launched SHIFT as a means to expand that collaboration to other organizations. Since its launch in October 2012, SHIFT has integrated GraphEffect into its platform.
