Accordent Expanded- CMS for Multimedia and Rich Media Assets

Accordent Technologies has released an expanded version of its Accordent Media Management System to include support for TANDBERG video conferencing systems and Flash presentations.
Media Management System is a centralized CMS framework for managing multimedia assets like streaming video and audio, video presentations, lectures, and webcasts.
Features are roughly what you would expect from traditional Enterprise CMS products - content management portal, user authentication and tracking, workflow functionality and so forth, except for two key differences.
The first is, obviously enough, that this CMS is specifically designed for managing multimedia.
The second is, it includes audience interaction reporting, which reports user behavior, including how long customers spent viewing a segment, and their interactions with rich media elements. The system also provides aggregated data like average session length and peak viewing times for a segment.
Customers can incorporate Macromedia Flash and TANDBERG presentations and videoconferences into the System, and augments the system's appeal.
Flash is a hugely popular technology and requires no introduction. But you may or may not know about TANDBERG, which is one of the biggest names in the video conferencing software field. (It's been in the business since '89. What, did you think video conferencing was a '90s invention?)
Accordent Media Management System is one of several products Accordent produces, which comprises a capture, delivery, and management suite.
In a lecture or presentation environment, Capture Station integrates with projectors, notebooks or other delivery devices to record video, audio and data via a one-click system.
PresenterPRO is the company's premium webcast delivery product, offering a range of interactivity features and a high degree of scalability to serve various grades of audiences. According to Accordent, its product is the favoured webcast delivery technology among the Global 2000.
Accordent Engage, meanwhile, is an audio and rich media webcasting solution that enables large organizations to share online presentations using the internal network, negating the need for costly outsourced conferencing technology.
The new capabilities of Accordent Media Management System will be unveiled at the Streaming Media West exhibition in San Jose.
