Version One May Bring Home Paperless Gold

Version One, a company that does all kinds of document management and imaging-type stuff, has just been proclaimed a finalist for the Paperless Office Software Category for Sift Media’s Business Software Satisfaction Awards ‘07.
Last year a plethora of accounting and tax software application vendors swept up the awards for business satisfaction. This year, about 19 categories span several elements of business as usual: accounting and finance, human resources, CRM, training and customer management. (Perhaps one day digital collaboration solutions will have a category as well.)

The Business Software Satisfaction Awards are unique in that there is no panel of judges. Winners are selected by buyers and end users of business software applications.
General Manager Richard Fisher of Version One beams, “We’re delighted to have made the final of these awards, especially as they’re judged by the people that count - actual software users.”
The BSS Awards were established in 2006 by Sift Media. Its purpose is to reward the efforts of software application purveyors that tout high operating standards in the UK.
With regard to said high standards, Fisher confirms, “We always try to respond to the needs of our user base and tailor our solutions to meet their specific requirements. It’s fantastic that these awards acknowledge this as well as the high quality and usability of our solutions.”
Version One’s suite of offerings empower users to electronically store, retrieve, manage, deliver and authorize given business documents. The company’s client base boasts 1500 customers, not the least of which include Specsavers, Nuffield Hospitals and children’s home Specsavers.
The winner of the coveted Paperless Software prize will be announced during the awards ceremony on October 9th, at The Brewery in London, EC1.
The Sift Media Business Software Satisfaction Awards were established in 2006 to reward high standards from software application providers serving UK businesses. You can learn more about them at the Software Satisfaction Awards website.
