So it’s finally happened: Zoho enters the enterprise at full speed with a new Suite feature called Zoho Business.

Like Google Apps, to which it’s forever compared, Zoho boasts a series of online applications that include a writing program, spreadsheets, a wiki, calendar, chat and others. Recently, many of these features were integrated into one access point: Zoho Start.

Zoho’s Business variant will include:

  • Domain management, for directing domains back to your App of choice
  • An admin console, along with centralized user and group management
  • Multi-tiered security privileges (including SSL)
  • Remote back-up
  • Phone support

The solution comes in two flavors, Free and Pro, but for now Pro is free while Zoho sorts out its feature set in beta.

Around first quarter of 2008, expect the cost for Pro to sit at US$ 40/year for each user. Notably, this is US$ 10 less expensive than its nemesis.

Read/Write Web has a few screenshots worth ogling. But if you’re ready to dive in deep, go ahead and request access to the private beta.
