Zoho Show Adds Transitions and Animations For Web Presentations

Online presentations can benefit from some extra jazz, thanks to productivity outfit Zoho's (news, site) update to its Show product.

Transitions and Animations Make The Grade

Zoho makes a wide range of Web-based business, collaboration and productivity tools, ideal for those in an Enterprise 2.0 environment, but who don't need the full-bore packages offered by many players.

Zoho Show is a Web-based presentation creator that is just as easy to use as PowerPoint or other apps, with the advantage of all your data being available from anywhere, and accessible to others if teams are working on a project.

The update includes some 30 transitions with slides, wipes and other effects. There are also five animations to add a little punch to those presentations and text can be animated to liven up those bullet points.

The package is PowerPoint import/export compatible for those who need to get an existing show online or to do presenting remotely.

Embedding has also been redesigned, to make it easier to embed a presentation into a Web page as you can see from the demo above. Additional features include editing support for Google Chrome.

With features including shapes, themes, symbols, drag and drop design and advanced text editing, Zoho Show is free for personal use or there is a version available for SharePoint users available on monthly per-user subscription rates.

With other applications covering the office, collaboration and project management tools, it is a useful company to know for those with smaller budgets or flexible requirements.
