BlueCielo ECM Solutions, formerly known as Cyco Software, has announced its sponsorship of Maximo World 2007, the yearly conference for users of strategic asset management software purveyor Maximo.
BlueCielo will use this opportunity to demonstrate the ways in which its InnoCielo ECM solutions integrate with Maximo. Day one's keynote speaker at Maximo World 07 will be Kevin Carroll, a self-proclaimed “excitatory agent for change." He worked as Head Athletic Trainer for the Philadelphia 76ers before working alongside Nike founder and CEO Phil Knight to help inspire and revitalize the company.
Other keynote speakers include Al Zollar, General Manager of IBM Tivoli Software, Bill Sawyer, Vice Presdient of Tivoli maximo Operations, and Jack Young, Vice President of Maximo Development
MRO Software (now under IBM), which develops Maximo, and BlueCielo are partners in offering Maximo customers an integrated content management solution.
Users of the solution receive easy access to asset-oriented technical data thanks to the combination of BlueCielo’s engineering CMS, InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise, along with strategic asset management solution Maximo.
Facility managers, space planners, and plant maintenance professionals are targets for this solution as it assists in managing and changing control records, helping improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, avoid lengthy infrastructure downtime, and ensure regulatory compliance at reduced cost.
To provide a practical example, InnoCielo Maximo’s client list includes one of the world’s largest metals-chemicals producers, Met-Mex Penoles. With over 1200 Maximo users, Met-Mex uses InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise to manage its engineering content.
The pairing of the two products allows Met-Mex Penoles to properly document and manage the entire lifecycle of its manufacturing facilities, and allows engineering and maintenance personnel to easily exchange documents and information, reducing the risk of lengthy process downtime.
Other big-name customers of InnoCielo Meridian Enterprise and Maximo include EDF Energy, New York Power Authority, Hewlett Packard, and Shell.
BlueCielo ECM Solutions has been in the engineering content management and application integration game for more than two decades. The company boasts a user base of over 275,000 in 50+ countries.
With offices in the USA, UK, Russia, Germany and the Netherlands, a solid level of service and support can be expected on a worldwide scale.
