EMC Provides OEM Developers with a new Toolset

EMC Corporation has announced a new set of OEM software products that will help developers include rich content management, capture and information rights management into their software solutions. Whether they are developing products or SaaS services, the EMC OEM product portfolio has everything a developer needs to build content rich software.
EMC Documentum XML Store OEM Edition for XML data management
The XML Store is an XML database that uses open standards and is designed to manage and publish complex documentation such as technical specifications.
EMC Information Rights Management software development kit (SDK)
This SDK can be used by developers for Web 2.0 applications, SaaS applications and product equipment companies. It provides the ability to track who can view or use information whether it’s internally or externally available.
EMC's Core Offerings for OEMs-Capture, Store, Secure, and Archive
- EMC Documentum Content Server OEM Edition: This is an ECM platform that can be embedded directly into an application. It’s the core of the OEM offerings and has the same architecture, APIs and functionality as the full-blown EMC Documentum ECM.
- EMC Documentum ApplicationXtender document management: This software provides the ability store and manage business content. A role-based .Net built system, it integrates document imaging, review, reporting, workflow and basic document management services.
- EMC Captiva family of paper scanning products: The Captiva document imaging and scanning solutions can be integrated using either the EMC Captiva PixTools ISIS SDKs or Dispatcher API.
All of these products are enterprise class solutions which should in turn help to make your product or service enterprise class.
