Enterprise CMS for Linux
Interwoven a provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions, today announced that it will release a version of its TeamSite content management (CMS) software for the Linux platform.
TeamSite will join Interwoven OpenDeploy and Interwoven WorkSite MP on the Linux platform, providing a comprehensive ECM solution for the Linux platform.
In a recent report, Gartner observed that, "Linux remains one of the most-watched OSs for servers. From its open-source roots to Web-serving applications to high-performance computing functions, Linux continues to grow in the worldwide market."
Interwoven has long been committed to open standards, including J2EE and SOAP, which play an increasingly important role in enterprise technology. Its WorkSite MP multi-platform collaborative document management product line supports Linux, as does OpenDeploy, the company's content distribution product. With the introduction of TeamSite for Linux, Interwoven addresses the full range of ECM needs, including collaboration, document management, e-mail management, Web content management, and content distribution, across all major operating system environments.
