Former Alfresco Exec Takes a Day Job

Day is on the move again, this time announcing the appointment of a new Chief Marketing Officer. Kevin Cochrane comes on board just in time to attend Day's Sixth Annual Global Customer Summit.

Kevin Cochrane is the latest in a number of new appointments to the Day executive team. Last month they announced a new VP of of NEMEA -- Trevor Salmon and Richard Francis as their Chief Financial Officer effective September 15, 2008

With over 12 years experience in the content management industry, Cochrane has held executive level jobs at Interwoven (where he was responsible for the Teamsite product line) and Alfresco (where he was VP of Product Management).

Cochrane will be responsible for worldwide corporate and product marketing along with global customer, partner and OEM programs.

Sixth Annual Global Customer Summit

The Summit is taking place in Basel, Switzerland, October 22 - 24, 2008 and brings together executives from all over the world and representing a number of industries.

One reason for the summit is to demonstrate customer successes using the Day platform. Customers like AARP, DAB Bank and Time Inc. will discuss how they implemented Day's software and the results it brought them.

In addition, Day CTO David Nuescheler and SVP of Engineering Jean-Michel Pittet will introduce the latest version of CRX and the CQ5 platform. This release includes a new user experience and leverage Web 2.0 for collaboration. Demonstrations of the software, including how easy it will be to upgrade will occur.
