Mondosoft Leading Enterprise Info Access

Enterprise Search and Analytics software maker Mondosoft has been recogized by Gartner as a visionary in enterprise information access and related business intelligence. As a horizontal service, Mondosoft continues its push, and its success, into the Microsoft Server space as well as with leading mid-market CMS vendors.

Gartner positions companies in the visionaries quadrant that demonstrate a strong understanding of the market and future market shifts.

“We believe Mondosoft was positioned in this review of information access technology vendors because of our high level of integration with Microsoft SharePoint Server technologies, a huge contender in the enterprise search arena,” explains Laust Sondergaard, Mondosoft’s CEO.

He continues, “Mondosoft’s vision linking better corporate information retrieval with business intelligence was demonstrated earlier this year with our strategic acquisition of Navigo Systems and Ontolica. We continue to innovate with search and analytics tools that make search work, helping our customers achieve their business objectives.”

Previously published as the Enterprise Search Magic Quadrant, Gartner renamed the report last year to correspond to the strategic value of information access that extends beyond simple keyword search.

Mondosoft’s search and search analytics technology supports a large number of portal and content management applications including .NET Web CMS platforms from EpiServer and (recently) Sitecore as well as Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint Portal Server, Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft CMS 2002 and Microsoft Commerce Server.

Mondsoft’s product line consists of an advanced, multi-lingual search engine suite — MondoSearch, BehaviorTracking, InformationManager — and a taxonomy toolset named Ontolica. Together the software offerings provide information access and well-rounded business intelligence on information creation, search, retrieval and usage.
