Later this month, Nuxeo users and partners will get a chance to exchange information -- and even phone numbers -- at Nuxeo World, which will be held in Paris on October 20 and 21.

Like previous years, it will pull together speakers from all over the world with sessions from Nuxeo architects and developers, partners and customers.

The opening keynote address this year will be from CEO Eric Barroca, who in the pre-event publicity has said that he will be looking at the strategy and roadmap for 2012, as well as some exclusives on product releases planned for the coming months.

Other noteworthy topics will include:

  • Laurence Hart, director of technology for Washington Consulting and long-time enterprise content management practitioner, who will be looking at ECM market trends and the cloud and how the future of information is there
  • Nuxeo, a long-time member of the Eclipse Foundation, the open source innovation network for industry, has invited Ralph Mueller, director of Eclipse Europe to discuss the value of the Eclipse collaborative development process for commercial and industry-specific initiatives, as well as recently contributed core Nuxeo technology
  • Roland Benedetti, Nuxeo vice president of products and marketing, and Thierry Delprat, Nuxeo chief technology officer, will present the Nuxeo roadmap, with an exclusive look at upcoming product releases, and Nuxeo’s technical vision for ECM and the technological strategy that follows from it

Nuxeo is growing its global installed base, fueled by expansion into North America.

This year, Nuxeo World 2011 has two North American sponsors, Washington Consulting, and Revolution Linux, as well as CMSWire, which is media sponsor to this year’s conference.
