This latest version joins RedDot's award-winning RedDot CMS product by building on the company's philosophy of offering comprehensive software solutions that are easy to use and cost effective.
RedDot XCMS 6.0 offers a single, scalable solution, tailored to meet the growing demands of mid-market organizations. The company also announced the release of RedDot CMS 6.0, a core component of XCMS.

New in RedDot XCMS 6.0 is a collection of optional modules tailored to each organization’s needs, a redesigned user interface, enhanced security features providing broader support for LDAP and a new module addressing web compliance.
- Manager Modules – RedDot XCMS 6.0 offers a broad range of ECM Manager modules, providing: web content management, document management, asset management, collaboration and business process management. Each module aligns to a functional area, allowing customers to purchase only the modules they need and incorporate additional modules as their needs change.
- New common user-interface – RedDot brings its intuitive, browser-based user interface to the ECM marketplace, driven by its widely recognized “Red Dots.” The newly designed interface provides a central point of access to the solution, exposing the core functionality of each module.
- Web Compliance Management – With the new Web Compliance Manager, organizations can ensure that their public facing websites comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements and internal branding policies. The module addresses compliance issues within the staging environment, before the content reaches the public. Pre-configured libraries, including the Section 508 and W3C accessibility standards, are available with the module.

RedDot CMS 6.0 builds on its widely recognized "Red Dot" interface with an updated look and feel. The interface also provides a central location to access all capabilities of the product and any added modules. RedDot CMS 6.0 also includes expanded support for Microsoft Office™ and breadcrumb navigation. The new Asset Manager™ for RedDot CMS 6.0 includes support for subfolders, and automatic sizing and page placement for graphics.
