Thunderhead Becomes Oracle Partner for Customer Communication Solutions

Thunderhead (news, site) adds another badge to its partner page, joining up with Oracle to expand awareness of its enterprise communications tool.

Partnering with ECM

Last year, Thunderhead was named an IBM Partner of the Year based on the strength and success of its enterprise communications Thunderhead NOW platform. It starts 2010 with similar recognition from Oracle. The Platinum Partner status will enable customers of both companies to receive improved service while Thunderhead can better implement its development plans with Oracle and can appeal to more of Oracle's customers.

As a total corporate communications package, Thunderhead NOW allows a consistent message to be broadcast across all media including print, Web and mobile by the client company.

To highlight its continuing success, Thunderhead announced last week a 30% rise in year-on-year sales.

The U.K.-based company has also bolstered its management with the addition of industry veteran, Richard Burdge who has taken responsibility for all of Thunderhead’s marketing and communications activity worldwide. With experience at Sky, HP, Vodafone, SAP, Société Générale, NYSE Technologies and IG Index, he should be able to get the company in many new doors.

Popular in financial services, insurance, healthcare and government verticals, Thunderhead includes the likes of Allianz, Bank of America and other giants among its clients.

The actual Thunderhead NOW package integrates with the customers existing ECM and CRM systems and can be used to send bulk content or interactive individual messages depending on the company needs.
