Thunderhead, an enterprise solutions vendor, has announced a record growth of nearly 300% in the U.S. market over the first half of 2008.
This growth can be partially attributed to winning several leading U.S. retail, banks, insurance and healthcare customers. Thunderhead’s U.S. operations accounted for over 40% of total company revenue. As a result of its record growth in the U.S., Thunderhead has continued to expand its U.S. sales force, support staff and professional services organization.
The company also continues its U.S. expansion with the addition of Lisa O’Reilly, senior VP of professional services for North America. O’Reilly brings over fifteen years of experience to the table, including her experience as a senior executive at EMC Document Sciences.
O’Reilly will focus on continuing to build out Thunderhead’s U.S. professional services operation and will bring experienced leadership in enterprise deployments and large-scale legacy system conversions.
The company’s Thunderhead NOW solution has taken hold in the rapidly growing document automation and multi-channel communications industry, with nine of the top ten global investment banks as customers and an impressive 100% customer retention rate.
The latest 4.0 version of Thunderhead NOW enables deeper integration with the customer business process that will ensure a smoother customer experience.
