Similar to a source control tool, this capability lets authors create versions of documentation for product releases while maintaining a tight reference to the original source of the documentation.

The BranchMerge capability is a nice tool to have when working in this type of environment. DITA Upload Tool XyEnterprise has updated their DITA Upload tool. This tool, providing drag and drop functionality within the desktop environment, works with DITA maps, topics and other specialized objects. This upload tool heps ensure documentation is complete and accurate for every release. Validate References Tool The Validate References Tool is a new tool that enables you to verify the status of any object reference including validating it recursively. Using this tool users can see what topics need to be checked and where a piece of content is being used.
