It’s a new year, a time of global change and a great time to head to Germany for a Drupal invasion. You won’t want to miss DrupalCamp Cologne (aka Koln) or Drupal Ubercart training. It’s history in the making for Drupal.
Never before has there been a Drupal-specific camp in Germany. And with over 150 people signed up already, it promises to be a good one. DrupalCamp Koln is being held January 17-18, 2009, in Cologne, Germany.
Dries Buytaert, Robert Douglass and Jeffrey McGuire are set to present. A keynote from Buytaert, a demo of the ApacheSolr improvements and a preview of Acquia’s hosted search solution are on the agenda.
If eCommerce with Drupal is your bag, then don’t miss Drupal Ubercart training. Scheduled for January 19-20, 2009, also in Cologne, this training session is set in the same venue following DrupalCamp.
Brought to you by Commerce Guys and AF83, the agenda for the training will cover how to develop a website for a rock band that features blogs, audio and video content, tour dates, event calendar, fan forums, and an Ubercart-based store where fans can buy t-shirts and music downloads.
Commerce Guys were recently selected to build and run the official Drupal store, and AF83 is skilled in the ways of training for Drupal. Even if rock bands are not your industry, this is a session not to miss. Quality tips and tricks are a value to all using Drupal.
Cologne seems to be the place to be in this January for all things Drupal. Don’t miss these promising back-to-back events.
