Bloglines Hits Milestone - 100 Million Articles Indexed

Bloglines, a free Internet service for searching, subscribing, publishing and sharing news feeds and blogs, recently marked a major growth milestone: more than 100 million live, dynamic articles are now indexed and tracked by the service.

These articles come from hundreds of thousands of unique news sources and blogs, representing the freshest and most diverse voices on the Internet today.

“Coming on the heels of our first anniversary, the milestone of 100 million articles indexed and searchable on Bloglines is measurable proof of how quickly dynamic content is multiplying on the Internet. Yet this free-flowing river of ideas can’t be navigated by traditional search portals like Google and Yahoo!,” said Mark Fletcher, CEO of Bloglines. “Only Bloglines provides a free and easy way to search, subscribe to, create and share dynamic web information like feeds and blogs, making them accessible and useable to people who are ready to dive in and participate.”
