James C. King Principal Scientist, Adobe Systems Incorporated Dr. King, a Principal Scientist at Adobe Systems Incorporated, will address "Getting Organized Beyond the Desktop" on Wednesday, August 18. King is one of the people responsible for the vision, architecture, design, prototyping, and ultimate development of new products and new features for existing Adobe products. Jim King joined Adobe in 1988 and until 1996, was the Senior Director of Adobe's Advanced Technology Group (ATG). He is now a member of ATG within the Adobe Office of Technology and is focusing on strategic technical issues. He is a member of the ACM, IEEE Computer Society, and President of the IS&T (Society for Imaging Sciences and Technology).
