Build a Better Website with SharePoint Designer

BooK; SharePoint Designer Tutorial: Working with SharePoint Websites

It just seems right to end the day with one final piece of news on SharePoint. This one comes from Packt Publishing who has released a new book on SharePoint entitled: SharePoint Designer Tutorial: Working with SharePoint Websites.

The book is written for beginners who want design and build SharePoint-based websites using SharePoint Designer.

SharePoint Designer is a WYSIWYG tool that helps you easily build and deploy SharePoint sites. It has it's drawbacks, but overall is a fairly good tool -- especially compared to its predecessor FrontPage -- and is used by many SharePoint developers today.

Not only will you learn to use SharePoint Designer specifically, you will also learn the ins and outs of quickly putting together a SharePoint website. It's written tutorial style and follows the development of a specific fictional site.
