This is a software space now -- one Digimind jumped into one year ago.
This week, Digimind became the latest social listening provider to integrate with Hootsuite in a partnership officials said helps marketers by combining social listening capabilities (Digimind) and engagement features (Hootsuite).
"It allows users to identify the conversations about their brand that matter, such as customer complaints, bad reviews or potential customer opportunities with sentiment analysis and potential audience," Jerome Maisch, product marketing manager for Grenoble, France-based Digimind, told CMSWire. "From there, they can respond to customers accordingly and publish on multiple channels in real-time."
How the Tech Works
Hootsuite is one of the hottest players in the space, and it caught the attention of IBM in December 2013. But we've heard about these social listening capabilities before. What makes Digimind stand out?
Maisch said adding Hootsuite to its platform gives Digimind standout qualities in the space:
- Broader source coverage: Digimind collects mentions across more than 850 million sources and 14 media types, including websites, news, blogs, forums, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube, Dailymotion, Linkedin, Google Plus, Sina Weibo, VKontakte
- Improved productivity and reading time: Digimind’s Intelligent Reading System algorithm helps users read mentions more effectively, officials said, by saving up to 40 percent of their time compared to other platforms. The clustering algorithm gathers similar mentions to avoid users to read the same mentions a hundred time and see the real potential audience of a publication
"Digimind," Maisch told CMSWire, "helps you identify the mentions you have previously read so you don’t read them again and again. By turning their background color from white to grey, you will distinguish the unread from read mentions in a single glance."
Maisch added the app is flexible and can be used both by SMEs and large corporations as it can support unlimited teams and users according to the package chosen.
