ISG Solutions announces the release of two collaboration modules for their flagship product, ISGweb for iMIS
: one for committees and the other for special interest groups (SIGs) and councils.ISGweb for iMIS is a suite of Web-based software modules that help associations to leverage the information stored in their iMIS database and provide better service to members of their websites.
The new modules come with ready-to-deploy websites configured specifically for the needs of each type of association group. The default configurations include pages and features built to support the association-specific processes.
The modules are built on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS)
and leverage the number of collaboration and communications capabilities it offers, such as: document management
, workflow automation, and website administration.
The ISGweb Committee and SIG modules give association groups real-time access to centralized online tools
that let them communicate and coordinate their efforts, share resources, and collaborate on projects using the same Microsoft Office tools they are already accustomed to.
Each group is given an online workspace that includes configurable document libraries, discussion forums, blogs, surveys, news feeds, group calendar, document search, and a searchable membership directory.
The workspace is a complete website that includes fully configurable home page and content management tools to help manage the site's content.
Three foundation modules are required for use: Unified Login & Create Account
, Update Profile
, and Administrator
The remaining modules, that can be subscribed to individually, include:
* Membership Directory
* Buyers Guide
* Find a Professional
* Membership Application
* Dues Renewal
* Events Calendar
* Meeting Setup & Registration
* Product Catalog
Additional collaboration modules are being developed including modules for chapters, meetings, the board, and accreditation.
The ISGweb Committee and SIG modules are shipping now. The modules can be purchased and installed on an association's network, or use a Software as a Service
(SaaS) licensing model. Either way, ISGweb pricing is based on the number of users and the modules used. Implementation costs are billed separately, at a flat rate per module.
