Conviveon today announced Version 6.0 of their SiteConnect Server. SiteConnect Server simplifies the process of creating and maintaining multiple Web sites and portals with shared content.
This release includes workflow, publishing features, and an e-commerce engine which supports both traditional B2C and RFQ-driven transactions. Version 6.0 also includes a new XML based interface for providing dynamic content on existing web sites using virtually any existing technology, including Microsoft .Net, PHP, Cold Fusion, and Active Server Pages.
SiteConnect Server simplifies the process of creating and maintaining multiple Web sites and portals with shared content.
Centralizing content management capabilities helps eliminate the high cost of content redundancy. Business users become empowered to control the production and delivery of content and sites in one automated and integrated process.
With its multi-site management capabilities, Conviveon SiteConnect Server also enables business users to rapidly create new sites that inherit characteristics from existing "parent" sites such as look and feel, color schemes, organization, and content components.
"Conviveon enhanced SiteConnect Server to increase the ease of use for those employees charged with managing the information and commerce their company delivers internally and externally," said Peter Eberley, senior vice president of products at Conviveon.
"Now business users interact with a single web based solution for everything from content submission to product shipping, making it faster, easier and less expensive to manage the entire process."
