eZ Systems Turns 10, Hosts Conference, Awards in Paris

eZ Systems turns 10 2009 is bringing big things to eZ Systems, the content management solution provider. Not only are they turning 10 this year, they are hosting the 7th annual eZ Conference and the annual eZ Awards which will be partially geared towards celebrating ten years in the WCM world.

Set in Paris in June of this year, the annual eZ Conference and Awards draws a crowd from around the world. As the largest open source content management conference in Europe, the 2009 eZ Systems conference is targeted at all web professionals as well as the entire eZ Ecosystem.

eZ Conference For Everyone

This year’s conference is aimed at gathering the entire content management ecosystem. Topics include web content management using various eZ System tools such as eZ Publish, eZ Flow, eZ Find, eZ Components or PHP in general.

It will also look at digital media publishing and solutions for the changing environment in which media exist. Speakers at this year’s conference include James Hewes of BBC Magazine and Angela Broer of G+J International. While there are two confirmed speakers, the organization is still taking proposals for additional presentations and speakers.

The eZ Conference and Awards 2009 will be comprised of two full days of presentations and keynotes. Aside from the basic conference schedule, eZ systems professionals will also be there to assist with technical questions regarding eZ Systems products as well as additional experts, web hosting companies and more to provide assistance, learning and solutions.

eZ Awards for the eZ Community

After the conference, be sure to stick around for the eZ Awards. These awards recognize members of the eZ Systems community and their successes. Winners from last year’s awards include the creators of reCAPTCHA, Nexus Consulting and Gala.

As 2009 brings bad news for many companies, others such as eZ Systems seem to be thriving. They are set to celebrate, award and host a major conference.
