FatWire Offers Website Optimization Capabilities via Integrated Google Analytics
FatWire’s (news, site) first move of 2010? Analytics, baby. The Web Experience Management provider has gone and integrated Google Analytics into their FatWire Content Server for easy (and free!) website success tracking.
Outlook Good
It became obvious last year that web analytics was going to be the new pink in 2010, so FatWire's news doesn't exactly surprise us. FatWire customers, however, will be happy to know that the new capabilities won't break their bank account. Or even touch it.
Once downloaded and installed, the module automatically generates Google tags and feeds data directly into Google for the easy measurement of effectiveness (traffic, usage patterns, visitor behavior, etc.).
Said Loren Weinberg, senior vice president of marketing and product management, FatWire Software:
“Our seamless integration with Google Analytics is one more way FatWire empowers our customers with the advanced web capabilities their marketing and customer-experience teams need to drive business success. We’re committed to making the jobs of marketers easier and more efficient. In addition to aggressively innovating in FatWire’s own offerings, we plan to launch more integrations with industry-leading technologies in 2010 to ensure our clients have the most advanced tools at their disposal for delivering an optimized and effective web presence.”
On a Roll
If Weinberg's hopes for of 2010 come true, it will be two excellent years in a row for FatWire. At the end of 2009 the company saw a 50% Increase in License Bookings, along with fourteen new customers including Amadeus, Bank of Western Australia, and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The company also routinely kicked out new capabilities across its product suite for driving marketing and cost efficiency.
Recent releases include new versions of their Content Server Web CMS, the TeamUp collaboration platform the FatWire Content Integration Platform.
“It’s been a busy time at FatWire and we are thrilled to continue to expand our geographic, customer and partner footprints,” said Yogesh Gupta, FatWire’s president and CEO after opening the new Latin America office in Brazil late last year. “It is great to see the economy picking up speed and to see the continued escalation of demand for FatWire’s offerings.”
