Kentico Adds Former Microsoft Employee as Product Evanglist
A little Microsoft is heading over to Web CMS. Thom Robbins, former Director of Developer Audience for Microsoft, made the move earlier this week to team Kentico (news, site) where he will operate as their new product evangelist. Coincidentally, Robbins will be working closely with Kentico Product Manager Michal Neuwirth, another ex-Microsoft head.
Robbins packs nine years of experience in technical marketing for Microsoft, having acted as their Principal Developer Evangelist and .NET Framework Product Management Director in addition to Director of Developer Audience. An author on the side, he has also published 3 books on Microsoft InfoPath and Windows Communication Foundation, as well as various industry articles.
"We are very excited to welcome Thom to the team. His extensive experience in product marketing and evangelism will help us make our enterprise-class Web content management solution more visible to the market," said Petr Palas, Kentico CEO. "He will also help us better educate our existing clients and partners about all the capabilities of the Kentico CMS platform."
Keep track of Kentico here, and let's see how Robbins does.
