Kentico Provides Web CMS to Windows 2008 Hosting Provider

Kentico is taking their Kentico CMS for ASP.NET product to a wider range of users. They’ve partnered with hosting provider DiscountASP.NET to offer their CMS at a discount hosted on the newest Windows 2008 platform.
Kentico announced their support for the Windows 2008 stack in February of this year. According to Petr Palas, CEO of Kentico, this partnership has helped Kentico test their product in a real world scenario prior to releasing it officially.
“Although we thoroughly test our application internally, it is always important to experience deploying and using our cms application just as one of our customers would with a live hosting partner.” said Petr Palas, CEO of Kentico.

DiscountASP.NET announced their support of Windows 2008 in February as well. All through the month of June they were announcing enhancement after enhancement of their hosting solution. So you know they keep on top of things.
Kentico isn’t the only CMS offered on DiscountASP.NET. We saw references to Sitefinity and DotNetNuke as well, both of which are also offered on the Windows 2008 platform.
For their part, Kentico is offering a 15% discount off their CMS when an organization hosts through DiscountASP.NET.
Recently voted Best ASP.NET Hosting Service in the asp.netPRO Magazine 2008 Readers’ Choice poll for the fourth consecutive year, DiscountASP.NET is one of the biggest providers of Microsoft .net hosted websites. So Kentico is making a wise move partnering with these guys to get their CMS out to a wider Microsoft audience.
