Microsoft CMS Sponsors Telerik Rich Editing Control

Made known, but not officially announced yet, Microsoft have decided to sponsor the integration of the Telerik r.a.d. editor as a replacement for their HTML placeholder control, in Microsoft Content Management Server 2002.

This is good news. Having personally worked with the Telerik editor on a number of occassions and having worked with Microsoft's HTML placeholder for MCMS, I can say that the Telerik control is far superior, offering significantly improved functionality for authors, developers, and integrators.

I've also worked with the folks over at Telerik. They are a nice lot and have always been extremely responsive to our needs. Its good to see nice things happen to nice folks.

Congradulations Telerik! We can't wait for the official release.
