Happy 10th Birthday, Dear Google!

Oh, Google, how much we overly obsess with you. We even keep up with your birthdays! You turned ten years old on September 7, 2008, and we couldn't be more proud of you.

Ten years ago on this very day, who would have known then that you would turn into one of the most recognized brands in the world.

Google, although you constantly bombard us with your AdSense units that sometimes have zero relevance to the content on a page, we still love you.

Dear Google, although your Google Maps street view perfectly renders domiciles, so that someone who wants to plan a break-in can do so without stepping a foot near those places, we still love you.

Although you constantly deface your logo with those Google Doodle sketches that appear on your homepage during most holidays, we still love you, Google.

Google, although you know more about us than we do ourselves, we still love you.

While Microsoft is distributing its yummy, churro-filled commercials that make no darn sense to most people, Google is expanding its worldwide dominance by releasing a new browser called Chrome. It really does show how some companies have their priorities in check, and others are stuck figuring out which shoe fits their foot.

Happy birthday, Google! You have given us an amazing decade, and while things are not perfect, they are now much better than they used to be. We can hardly contain ourselves to see more good things from you in the next decade!
