Three days. Twenty-five speakers. Lots of smart content. Last week, at Intelligent Content 2011 in Palm Springs, content strategists, technical writers, and semantic technologists gathered to learn more about how to apply smart content to the way they market, develop and innovate.
Developing Intelligent Content for Mobile, Social Media
While the conference touched on a variety of topics, two in particular were most popular: Mobile and social media. Both are emerging platforms for companies and both hold potential for reaching diverse audiences. Yet, as much benefit as they provide, companies are still unsure about how to implement them into their overall outreach strategies.
On Friday, on behalf of CMSWire, I had the privilege of presenting Content Strategies for Social Media Marketing. The presentation, provided below, featured best practices and recommendations for generating meaningful content and developing meaningful workflows to facilitate meaningful conversations.
Overall, the conference aimed to provide ideas, insights and perspectives about how to approach content intelligently and effectively, it also sought to facilitate debate, discussion and networking among seasoned professionals and beginners. We encourage the conversation to continue and invite you to participate as we explore content strategy, social media marketing and the mobile enterprise.
