Optify Releases Basic Edition for SMBs & Upgrades for the Profesh
Today Optify (news, site) gave a hat tip to the littler guys with the announcement of a new Basic Edition of its marketing software for SMBs.

The new edition of Optify's platform offers compact versions of key features:

  • Support for a single user
  • 250 tracked keywords
  • One global search engine

It also offers page optimization, link tracking, lead scoring and tracking, social media monitoring and Twitter for Business.

For larger enterprises, Optify is strengthening its Professional Edition which includes all the features of Basic, plus support for 10 users, multiple web domains, custom reporting, multiple lead scores, phone and email support, and bundled QuickStart and Success Services.

"Optify's Basic and Professional Editions mark a turning point for SMBs," said Jonathan Saad, president and CEO at BlueCosmo. "We get everything we need for our online marketing campaigns in one single product, no more juggling across different applications. We also get peace of mind knowing the technology has been successfully used by other world class marketing departments at organizations ten times our size, and for us that's a huge endorsement."

Further, a couple of brand new features (for all editions) have hit the scene:

  • Onboarding Wizard: Guides users through set-up, best practices and provides a one-click tracking plug-in for WordPress without having to add code to website pages.
  • Keyword Auto-Suggest: New users will get a head start with up to 15 keywords their business is already ranking for, as well as the automatic tracking and monitoring of those keywords' visits, leads, monthly searches, minimum CPC and against competitors.

The New Click-Through Curve

Our friends at Optify were also in the news for a recent study of customer keywords’ click-through rates on search engine results pages (SERPs). The report sought to create a new click-through-rate (CTR) curve so as to better understand if there is a correlation between organic click-through-rate and cost-per-click (CPC) value for the same keyword.

This is due to shifts and changes that translate into simple page rank measurement not being enough. Optify’s results suggest that we need to track other things as well.

Add that to today's focus on SMBs and Optify is obviously trying to be a valuable asset for any organization of any size and location.
