According to Web Analytics Demystified (news, site), most nonprofit organizations only get 1 to 2 percent of their website visitors to donate or complete other desired actions. In an effort to up these numbers, the analytics company is beefing up their free insights and Google Analytics-based recommendations via the appointment of Wendy Greco to the position of Executive Director, Analysis Exchange.

The Analysis Exchange

In case you aren't familiar, the Analysis Exchange is Web Analytics Demystified’s philanthropic effort to provide advice and consulting on Google Analytics data to nonprofits and non-governmental organizations free of charge:

The Analysis Exchange has provided analysis and insights to a number of efforts, including Make-A-Wish Foundation, PBS, charity: water, Amnesty International, Common Cause and YMCA.

“If you work with a non-profit and you’re not using the Analysis Exchange, you’re missing one of the best opportunities to improve your digital marketing. The Analysis Exchange makes it easy to undertake some research into your online activity and provide insights that can impact your bottom line," said Paull Young, Director of Digital at charity: water.

As a former Accenture technology consultant, Greco has worked with a variety of community nonprofits both at the board and committee level. At the Analysis Exchange she will serve as the primary point of contact for the entire effort, coordinating nonprofit outreach and managing professionals around the world who are committed to the exchange.

“We are absolutely delighted to have Mrs. Greco leading the Analysis Exchange in 2011...” said Eric T. Peterson, Analysis Exchange founder and CEO of Web Analytics Demystified. “When we established this effort we knew we needed an experienced, dynamic, and committed leader and Wendy is absolutely that person. With Wendy leading the way, backed up by Jason [Thompson], Emer [Kirrane], and the entire Web Analytics Demystified team, I am incredibly excited about what we will be able to accomplish.”
