Baltimore a city known for character, flare and architecture, but did you know that it is also a thriving design community? Baltimore is the home of several prestigious creative agencies and the city regularly hosts lectures and discussions on a plethora of innovative topics hosted by several colleges, universities and professional organizations.
Get inspired in Charm City. A Day in the Life is a one-day design conference due to take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art). It will cover an array of interests, including design & sustainability, print verses web, and branding yourself, as well as lectures by industry recognized design professionals. The event will also feature a Creative Jam Session where attendees can get inspired through vendors/exhibits, and other “make-it and take-it” stations.
The sole purpose of the conference is to rejuvenate the creative spirit in the design profession, foster an environment for networking, and offer opportunities for learning. The first event of its kind in Baltimore, this event intends to set the bar and further bring attention to the innovative energy that thrives in the city.
