This year we aim to deliver a program that stresses the broad range of applications enabled by the many Apache Top-level Projects and initiatives in the Apache Incubator and Labs, demonstrating that you truly can do almost anything with Apache technologies.

The 2013 conference theme is “Open Source Community Leadership Drives Enterprise-Grade Innovation”, focusing on professionally-directed, relevant presentations that demonstrate real-world solutions to specific challenges. All sessions are selected by members of Apache Project Management Committees, and are presented by an internationally-recognized roster of speakers and trainers.

The official conference, trainings, and expo of The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), ApacheCon draws Open Source users, developers, gurus, students, novices, community managers, and enthusiasts to address today’s issues, opportunities, and solutions focusing on the ASF’s nearly 150 projects and initiatives. ApacheCon is a great way to meet the individual contributors behind your favorite Apache projects! It’s an ideal opportunity for technologists currently developing Apache-based solutions, as well as those interested in committing code to an Apache project, contributing to the Apache Incubator, or enhancing their Open Source products and community practices.
