We are the younger brother of #CMSGeekUpNYC and the cousin of London's #LastThursdayCMS. We ventured West to break free of the conservative, buttoned-down, hidebound tradition of those Old World bastions of CMS nepotism and corruption. We are just a bunch of high tech flower children equally passionate about Web Experience Management and astrology, NoSQL and free love, CMIS and Burning Man. We are as apt to discuss the convergence of Portals and WCM as we are to read aloud from Allen Ginsberg's “Howl” while wearing mullet wigs unironically. So if you like San Francisco, and you like drinking, and you like roof deck parties, and you like, or at least tolerate, Peter Monks, come to the third edition of #CMSGeekUpSF, Thursday July 29th, starting at 6pm and going until our Eastern brothers and sisters awake to face their Fridays with raging hangovers. We are the younger, more rebellious, less mature sibling,
