Description
We know developers are hungry for information about modern C++, ISO C++. The GoingNative conference aims to provide current technical information to as many people as possible. We're excited to see so much interest in C++ brewing in the industry today. We think this is just great! When's the last time Microsoft threw a C++ party - and in our house? Let's celebrate!
The primary technical focus will be on C++11, the latest version of ISO C++. We aim for this event to appeal to all C++ developers, regardless of the platforms you target (since ISO C++ is a portable language, we know many of you target multiple platforms, including our own). We welcome everybody.
GoingNative 2012 is a 48 hour technical event for those who push the boundaries of general purpose computing by exploiting the true capabilities of the underlying machine: C++ developers. Distinguished speakers include the creator of C++, Bjarne Stroustrup, C++ Standards Committee Chair, Herb Sutter, C++ template and big compute master, Andrei Alexandrescu, STL master Stephan T. Lavavej, LLVM/Clang developer Chandler Carruth, distributed and parallel computing expert Hans Boehm, and C++ language design expert and ISO committee member Andrew Sutton.
