Splash is a single-track evening event and startup competition. Splash gathers leading entrepreneurs, innovators, venture capitalists and angel investors across technology to inspire and energize the audience about entrepreneurship and innovation.
Splash brings together high-caliber speakers who talk about how to build and scale great successful companies, how their industries are changing and the opportunities those changes are creating.
Splash also allows the audience to mingle with top venture capitalists and angels who are funding tomorrow's next Google and Facebook. These influencers will give you insights into how they think when it comes to investments and they'll also talk about their changing investment strategies in light of the emergence of super angels, angels, micro-VCs and incubators.
•Keynote speakers bring experience to the stage, sharing lessons, failures and advice on how to build lasting companies, what it means to be a leader and to innovate.
•Venture capitalists and angel investors from top-notch firms bring insight, feedback and sometimes tough love to the entrepreneurs onstage.
•The demo area is bustling with activity as 30 companies get space to promote their services and products and network with the hundreds of participants.
•Top winner chosen by the audience wins prizes and gets to go onstage once again and pitch in front of VC/panelists in a 20-minute Splash Box segment.
•By day they're serious venture capitalists and executives, by night they're jamming onstage at Splash. Top off the evening with dancing and mingling as venture capitalists and executives strip off their button-down shirts to sport their gold blazers, or whatever it is that makes them feel cool and hip to put on a stellar show.
