Sneak Peek at .NET Framework 4.0 beta 1

With Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (news, site) out in beta, it seems like a good time to have a look at what's new and improved in the .NET framework.

There have been so many changes to the .NET framework 4.0 beta 1 that it would be impossible to cover everything. From improved security to parallel computing to a new runtime environment (dynamic language runtime) to workflow to lots of new features for the Web, one can get lost in the details.

Microsoft has come to help you out. They have released an updated version of their Developing SharePoint Applications guidance. Coming from the patterns and practices group it offers examples and information on building collaborative applications that include integration with Line of Business applications.
