Since the Xbox 360 launched in 2005, it has slowly evolved to keep up with the times -- a little Twitter, some Facebook and on-demand content. Now, it presages Windows 8 with a major update that adds a "Metro" interface and cloud support to become a pretty smart smart device.

Inmagic, a provider of knowledge management solutions, recently released a new socialized version of their knowledge repository. The company says the solution was named Social Presto by customers including NASA, Newsweek and the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts. 

But we'll focus less on the name dropping -- although NASA is an impressive client -- and more on the turn we see vendors continuing to take in the direction of social knowledge solutions.

Amidst a flurry of beta trial, WordPress 2.7 finally comes to realization. Automattic, the driving force behind WordPress.com has announced they are releasing the newest version of the blogging platform, version 2.7, Thursday, December 4th (that would be today) on WordPress.com.

Commerce and Kiwis are two wonderful things that just aren’t paired together often enough. ITema, Inc. has thankfully addressed this issue, at least in name, by releasing to the open source community KiweeCommerce, an e-commerce module for the MODx content management system.
