It's been a big week for product updates, and we're not done yet. Lyris, AKA the company formerly known as J.L. Halsey, has announced the release of Hot Banana 5.7, an update to the popular and critically acclaimed web content management solution; and the thing that forms the meaty core of the company’s Lyris HQ integrated marketing platform.

It's all about Gilbane this week, of course. The latest news from the Boston conference relates to Hot Banana's Web CMS, which topped the poll for Overall Ease of Use in Gilbane's "Survey on Web Content Management User Experience."

In a move that appears to counter rather than complement the availability of Salesforce Content, Salesforce.com announces the immediate availability of Hot Banana's Web CMS offering via App Exchange.

At the CFUnited 2007 conference, Hot Banana announced v5.6, the latest legacy-bearer in a string of Web CMS solutions.
