Now that Labor Day weekend is over, companies are shifting into high gear to prepare for the holiday push. Among the document management products being released in the next two weeks the general release of M-Files v9.0 and something new from Alfresco. This past week, Google Drive editing capabilities for iOS were upgraded, while enterprise content management looks set to grow in the EMEA region.

There were a few notable moves in the document management space recently. Among them is a new archiving solution for SharePoint form ArcMail, Alfresco released a new version of its records management solution, DocuLex upgraded ArchiveStudio for MFPs, ABBYY upgraded FlexiCapture, while OpenText announced that it had a good year.

This week IBM released Content Navigator that enables users to access documents on the go, Alfresco’s cloud offering leaves beta and goes on general release, Accusoft offers a scanner for Android, FileHold and Cirilab Partner for unstructured content analysis, and Australian AsdeqLabs offers repository access through iPad.
