Armedia's (news, site) new Content I/O Suite ties three software components together to create an integrated content collection, migration and delivery solution, one that the company thinks will take clients handily over a number of common enterprise content management hurdles.

Soon those people you see twiddling their Blackberries or tickling their iPhones will be doing more than checking email and watching YouTube. Thanks to an alliance between Armedia and VSR Networks, EMC Documentum users will soon be able to manage content from their mobile devices.

Not only will it be a money saver (of about US$ 400 000 per year), but a great moment of not-evil PR ta boot.
