How Case Management and Knowledge Brokering Can Deliver Process Improvement for Your Organization

Case management is proving to be an important means of delivering process improvement to solve critical business challenges, regardless of industry or type of process. Just a few examples include Chartis Insurance accelerating their loan application and underwriting response time, AEGON Financial Services improving their invoice processing, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reducing costs of responding to information requests. In this second article in my series on Adaptive Case Management (read the first one: How Adaptive Case Management Helps Businesses Overcome Challenges and Improve Performance), I discuss the role that adaptive case management technology can play in that strategy.

How Adaptive Case Management Helps Businesses Overcome Challenges and Improve Performance

When was the last time your work day went as anticipated? A predictable day with all data found on the first try, and a series of activities that occurred in a predefined well-mannered order? A day with no problems, no errors, no surprises? Not recently is my answer, maybe never! The reality is as knowledge workers we all need to deal with uncertainty in business.

A perfect day then is one where we’ve adapted to the unexpected, overcome the challenges, and managed the unpredictable nature of our business activities to accomplish our goals.
