EMC Documentum xCP Designer’s Challenge

EMC Finalists for xcP Platform Developer Challenge A quick update on the EMC (news, site) Documentum xCP Designer's Challenge we told you about last month. The challenge, initiated May, was open to anyone who wanted to demonstrate how easy it was to build real world case management applications using EMC Documentum xCP.

xCP is a platform that allows you to build and deliver case-based solutions rapidly. It includes pre-packaged and pre-integrated components for content management, business process management, monitoring and reporting, compliance, intelligent capture, collaboration and customer communications management.

The winner of the Challenge were announced yesterday at Momentum Europe 2009. It was Booz Allen Hamilton for its RoadPulse Application. Developed in 8 days, it is a local and state government notification system for infrastructure concerns.

Second place went to Avantias for its Education Center application and third went to Trends Global for its Healthcare Content Collaboration Gateway application.

The Designer's Challenge was definitely a smart way for EMC to show the world how easy it is to build case management solutions on their xCP platform. Seeing it in action is much better than reading the marketing buzz.
