Clickability Uses Google Website Optimizer

Google has launched a new Website Optimizer Technology Partner (WOTEP) program to go along with its Website Optimizer Tool. The Website Optimizer is designed to help organizations increase traffic and turn more visitors into customers. Web Content Management provider Clickability has decided to take advantage of this new technology and is now a partner in the program.


Clickability SaaS Web CMS wins a Codie

On May 20th, the CODiE's were awarded at an Awards Gala in San Francisco, California. From the over 1,000 nominations from 600 companies, winners were chosen in a number of categories including software, content, education and corporate.

It should come as no surprise that Clickability won the award for Best Content Management Solution. They still have some work to do though to beat Saleforce.com as the Best Software as a Service Solution...


Clickability SaaS Web CMS offers online video

They just finished up their 2008 User Conference in San Francisco and it looks like they were sitting on a new partnership deal the whole time. SaaS Web Content Management provider, Clickability has announced that they will partner with Twistage, a white label video solution provider, to provide online video capabilities to the Clickability Publishing Platform.

Clickability executives Join SIIA

It's shaping up to be a really great year for Clickability. They had record numbers attending their User Conference in San Francisco last month and they have record numbers for usage of the SaaS web content management platform. Things are going so well, that several of their executives are joining Executive Council Boards of the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA).

It looks like there might be a battle brewing in the SaaS Web Content Management world. CrownPeak has decided to go full force in hosted web content management and is now offering a website and product suite on ContentManagement.com for small to medium-sized companies.

Crownpeak has been around for awhile offering content management services, but this is their first foray into the delivery side of the content management equation. Does this solution put them on equal footing with competitor Clickability?

Their product, the Clickability Platform, is provided On Demand and is a full service solution offering starting with Infrastructure as a Service and ending with what the company calls Innovation as a Service. The package covers both the back office content management interfaces and, importantly, the delivery and rendering infrastructure.

While there's much more to the Clickability Platform then web content management, it is definitely the central component.

This Quick Take Review is an overview of the Web CMS portion of the Clickability Platform. For the purposes of this review we have restricted most of our discussion on the Web Content Management capabilities -- although we do mention some of the additional components in their Software as a Service (SaaS) solution set, as interesting differentiators.

Clickability Platform and Product Editions

Clickability's SaaS Web Content Management Platform has always been just a little bit different than those of traditional WCM vendors, but now they are going even further offering a complete web content management platform that includes not only software as a service (SaaS) but Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Side by side with this announcement, they also announce the introduction of a number of new executives that come from some very influential companies: ZDNet, Salesforce.com and AOL.


The Star Tribune has tapped hosted Web CMS vendor Clickability ot bring a little mobility to its content offerings.

Since the Clickability integration, StarTribune.com added more collaborative workflows for its staff and improved its access speeds by four times.

Clickability will also help Star Tribune monetize its content on the mobile frontier. Star Tribune is also working with DoubleClick to improve ad conversions.
