West coast CMSers, it's time to get yo' summit on. The Gilbane Group and Lighthouse Seminars have announced that the 2008 CM Pros U.S. Spring Summit will take place on June 17, in conjunction with the fourth Annual Gilbane San Francisco Conference which is June 18-20 at the Westin Market Hotel in San Francisco. The summit will offer attendees an in-depth forum for discussing the business and technical side of managing and delivering dynamic content.

It's still early in the new year and the folks at Content Management Professionals are starting things off with a fresh batch of talent for their Board of Directors. The CM Pros Election Oversight Committee has announced the results for the 2008-2009 Board of Directors elections.

Interested in harnessing Web 2.0 and the latest in CMS technology? The Fall 2007 CM Pros Summit would be a good place to start.

The Content Management Professionals association has announced a call for participation. This is for their Fall 2007 Summit, to be held on November 26, 2007 in Boston, Massachusetts. The topic of the year is our dear evergreen favorite: Web Content Management.

To quote, the Pros are specifically interested in "instructors willing to lead workshops and moderators to lead roundtable discussions that focus on a specific topic and that teach attendees new skills they can put to work when they return to the office."

Content management professionals have every reason to look forward to next month. With a gaggle of professional comings together and free drinks courtesy of our kindest CM vendors, this coming April in San Francisco is turning into an CM bonanza you might not want to miss.

First there's Gilbane SF, in parallel is the Localization Industry Standards Association (LISA) Forum, and then just on the heels will be the CM Professionals conference.
