Colligo Reports Record Sales and Profits in Q4

Colligo Reports Record Sales and Profits in Q4Like we hinted at earlier today, desktop collaboration solutions are kind of a big deal. The latest to support that claim is Colligo (news, site) whose life mission seems to be making SharePoint less of a headache. The company reported record sales in Q4 of 2009:

• Total revenue in the quarter increased 32% compared to the same period in 2008.
• Bookings of SharePoint products increased 51% during the quarter while revenues increased 44%
• Operating earnings were up 216% during the year.

Yes, it seem that like many other content management-related companies, Colligo has manage not only to survive the economic downturn, but thrive in it as well.

“Closing the year with record sales and profits is a real testament to the contribution of the entire Colligo team and our worldwide partner network," said Barry Jinks, President and CEO, Colligo Networks. "2010 is poised to be another incredible year for Colligo with the launch of SharePoint 2010 and the opening of new markets in the enterprise content management and records management space."

Colligo's developments over the last year included the addition of Microsoft veteran Grego Noriskin as Product Architect, and Colligo’s Contributor Pro product being named a winner of the “2009 Community Choice Awards” in the SharePoint category by Penton Media’s Windows IT Pro magazine.
