Since then, magazine and newspaper publishers around the world have launched more than 50 apps and published more than 350 digital publications for the iPad using WoodWing’s tools. When Woodwing Software first created their digital magazine tools for the iPad, they had no way of foreseeing how the iPad would capture the hearts and minds of the world.

WoodWing (news, site) launches the latest version of its Enterprise 7 Publishing System, packing in improvements for search and production, and adding a much-evolved Content Station to make managing media less of a chore.

Social Media is a hot ticket for VCs. ShoZu alone picked up US$ 25 million total in funding from investors since its inception. That investment has paid off as ShoZu gets acquired by Critical Path, a provider of messaging services and software.

A new partnership between publishing software giant Woodwing (news, site) and visual search technology developer Imprezzeo (news, site) will add image recognition search capabilities to Woodwing’s enterprise content management system.

Just a few weeks ago, WoodWing (news, site) announced that it had extended its enterprise content publishing platform with its Brand Station, a web-to-print publishing extension. Now they are focused on Content Station, its publishing tool for content producers.

WoodWing (news, site)  helps new and traditional media to work smarter through the use of technology. Its latest content manager sees the company open its arms to the new generation of browsers.
