Ah how time flies...Why it was just last week we were telling you all about a new content management solution called CushyCMS. At the time it was still in Private Beta.

But good news..it has been officially released today and it's still free!

CushyCMS comes to you direct from Stateless Systems the creators of popular RetailMeNot.com coupon site. They claim this is a CMS designed specially for the Web Designer.

The CMS enables Web Designers to focus and maintain control on design and Information Architecture while pushing the task of actual content management out to the non-technical folks in the organization. Ok wait...what CMS doesn't do that?

It might be Cushy's bigger sell is their fast and easy implementation. " Web designers can implement Cushy in minutes, without any hosting requirements or software installation." Now that's something to think about.

Take a deeper look into the product via our own Eric Brown,

CushyCMS even has a Google Group for support: getting help and swapping tips.

Anyway, you can view a demo on how to edit a site in under three minutes.

Have a look. And welcome CushyCMS to content management fold!

Managing content, especially if you have a large base of people contributing and editing, can be a headache if you aren’t already using a CMS system. The questions of how to integrate it all in a flowing environment can give IT guys and development teams an ulcer.

Stateless Systems has launched a private beta of a free online (SaaS) content management system called CushyCMS that aims to make life just a bit easier for website owners and designers the world over.
